della cultura del profumo nell\u2019antichit\u00e0. Professore presso l\u2019Universit\u00e0 della Calabria, la sua attivit\u00e0 di ricerca si concentra sulle pratiche legate agli aromi, agli unguenti e alle fragranze nel mondo greco e romano, ambiti che rivelano il profondo valore culturale, simbolico e sociale del profumo nelle civilt\u00e0 del Mediterraneo.<\/p>\n<p>Autore di numerose pubblicazioni scientifiche e saggi dedicati alla storia degli aromi e dei profumi, Squillace ha contribuito a riportare alla luce tecniche, ingredienti e rituali utilizzati nell\u2019antichit\u00e0 per la creazione delle fragranze. Le sue ricerche analizzano il profumo non solo come prodotto estetico, ma come elemento centrale nella vita quotidiana, nella medicina, nella religione e nei rituali sociali del mondo antico.<\/p>\n<p>Grazie a un approccio interdisciplinare che unisce storia, archeologia e cultura olfattiva, il lavoro di Giuseppe Squillace offre una prospettiva unica sull\u2019evoluzione del profumo nel corso dei secoli e sulle radici storiche della profumeria contemporanea.<\/p>\n<p>Durante Snouf \u2013 Fragrance Niche Event, il professor Squillace sar\u00e0 tra i relatori del programma di approfondimento dedicato alla cultura del profumo, offrendo un viaggio affascinante nella storia delle fragranze dall\u2019antichit\u00e0 al presente, tra conoscenze scientifiche, curiosit\u00e0 storiche e tradizioni olfattive del Mediterraneo.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper.
