Founded by Lorenzo and Federico Cavoretto—father and son—the brand embodies the perfect balance between artisanal expertise and contemporary innovation within Italian artistic perfumery.

Lorenzo, with a long-standing career in the fragrance industry, brings deep technical knowledge to the project: formula construction, the strength and quality of raw materials, and the refined balance that transforms an accord into emotion. His experience forms the solid foundation behind every creation.

Federico, holding a degree in marketing and driven by a passion for contemporary aesthetics, introduces a fresh, conceptual perspective influenced by art, design, and visual culture. His vision pushes Devertere beyond the traditional boundaries of niche perfumery, transforming fragrance into an aesthetic manifesto and a complete sensory experience.

The name Devertere, from Latin, means “to deviate,” “to change direction,” but also “to amuse.” It encapsulates the essence of the project: to build an original, free, provocative, and poetic olfactory language.
