Claudia Sepertino is a researcher and science communicator specializing in the relationship between olfaction, neuroscience, and sensory experience. She is the founder of Mindscents, a project dedicated to exploring the connection between scent perception, emotions, and memory from a scientific and interdisciplinary perspective.
With a background in neuroscience and perception psychology, Claudia Sepertino studies how odors influence the brain, human behavior, and emotional wellbeing. Through research, educational activities, and public outreach, she aims to make the neurobiological mechanisms behind olfactory perception more accessible and understandable.
The Mindscents project was created to connect science, perfume culture, and sensory communication, offering workshops, educational programs, and content focused on the role of smell in everyday life. Her work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, and contemporary olfactory culture.
During Snouf – Fragrance Niche Event, Claudia Sepertino will join the program of talks dedicated to perfume culture, providing a scientific perspective on the role of smell in the human brain, the relationship between fragrance, emotions, and memory, and the growing influence of neuroscience in the world of modern perfumery.
